Pinterest is one of my favourite places to look for inspiration online. When I lack the motivation to pick up my sketchbook, seeing how others use theirs can often be all I need to kickstart a sketching session. Here are some of the images I've been saving to my 'Sketchbook Inspiration' Pinterest board lately for this very purpose. Please feel free to refer back to this whenever you're also in need of some inspiration!
I'm a big lover of colour but seeing sketchbook spreads like this makes me want to try out only using charcoal and/or graphite. Maybe I'll try it in my next drawing session!
I love the variety in these faces - and the messiness! I need to get a bit looser in my sketchbooks.
This reminds me that sketchbook spreads don't always need to be two dimensional. I can stick things in, cut paper up, and add fold-outs. It's important to keep it natural and not overthink it though (I tend to overthink things like this!)
I've always been a big fan of Emma Carlisle's sketchbooks. This makes me want to book a weekend away somewhere and draw everything I see!
Gorgeous spread - I would love to paint loosely in my sketchbook like this!
This is inspiring me to sit in at a dance class or go see a show and draw people dancing.

It looks like the artist prepared this spread with swathes of blue paint before working on top. I would LOVE to do this - prep a bunch of pages and then sketch outdoors.
