We will continue to ship to countries within the European Union. On top of that, our NI and EU customers no longer need to worry about unexpected customs fees on delivery!*
If you've spent time on Instagram in the last week, you may have noticed that many small businesses will no longer be shipping to countries within the European Union. This is due to the new GPSR regulations coming into effect on the 13th of December 2024.
Whilst more information is coming out daily, there still seems to be little official support in the UK. Many small business owners feel left in the dark and need help to conform to the new conditions.
Thankfully, we've partnered with EAS, a European compliance agency, to help us meet EU tax and documentation requirements.
This means two main things:
- We can continue shipping to European Union countries.
- We are now VAT and IOSS compliant, so there won't be any unexpected customs charges on delivery for our NI and EU customers.*
*NI and EU orders below 150 EUR are now VAT and IOSS compliant. This means we pay VAT at the point of sale, and the customer doesn't need to worry about customs fees on delivery. To account for this change, tax will be added to our prices and displayed at checkout for orders shipping to NI and EU destinations only. This applies to both physical and digital products.
NI and EU orders above 150 EUR cannot be declared with IOSS; therefore, taxes will not be added at checkout. The customer must pay VAT and any other fees upon delivery instead.
We are still evaluating the situation and making the necessary changes as new information comes to light. We will keep you updated on any new developments.
In addition, due to the changes in our EU pricing model, our website has and will continue to undergo modifications. If you have any issues or questions, please get in touch with us at info@oddorange.co.uk.
Our Northern Ireland and European customers mean a great deal to us, and we are thrilled to be able to continue offering our Odd Orange products and workshops worldwide!
Thank you so much for your continued support.
All the best,
Morgan
